Flowers with inconspicuous, sparse bristles at base of lamina, these whitish or with color of lamina; lamina with dull white and reddish markings, usually shorter than horns.
Flowering spring--early summer. Moist to dry, shady coniferous forests; 0--1600 m; B.C.; Alaska, Calif., Idaho, Mont., Oreg., Wash.
