Leaves usually 1.5-6 mm wide, rarely wider. Fruiting bracteoles 2(-4)-winged, samaralike; achenes vertical. 2n = 18.
Flowering summer. Fine-textured, often saline and seleniferous substrates; 1200-2500 m; Ariz., Colo., Utah.
Zuckia brandegeei var. brandegeei is found on the Entrada, Summerville, Morrison, Moenkopi, Chinle, Shinarump/Mossback, and Cutler formations.
