Leaf blades slightly fleshy , margins 15-21-toothed. In-florescences usually congested, purple- or brown-tipped, erect stipitate-glandular. Pistils con-nate most of their lengths. Capsules 3-8 mm. 2n = ca. 80, ca. 84.
Flowering summer. Arctic tundra, mountain stream banks; 0-1200 m; N.W.T., Yukon; Alaska; e Asia (Russian Far East).
