11b. Sedum radiatum S. Watson var. ciliosum (Howell) H. Ohba, J. Bot. Res. Inst. Texas. 1: 889. 2007.
Sedum ciliosum Howell, Fl. N.W. Amer. 1: 214. 1898; S. stenopetalum Pursh subsp. ciliosum (Howell) R. T. Clausen
Leaves of offsets ciliate. Cymes: primary branches often dichotomously forked, 11-22 cm. Flowers: petals white or creamy white, sometimes drying yellowish, 7-11 mm; anthers yellow; nectar scales 0.5-0.6 mm.
Flowering spring-summer. Talus and rocks along streams, cliff bases, bluffs; 200-1200 m; Oreg.
The leaves of var. ciliosum are similar to those of Sedum stenopetalum, and an argument can be made that var. ciliosum is more closely allied to that species (P. Zika, pers. comm.).
