Racemes (corymbose), often dense. Fruiting pedicels 5-11 (-20) mm. Flowers: petals spatulate to oblanceolate, (5-) 7-14(-19) × 1-3(-4) mm, claw 3-6.5(-10) mm; median nectar glands often absent. Fruits (1.3-) 1.8-5.3(-6.9) cm. 2n = 26.
Flowering May-Jul. Alkaline grounds and flats, meadows; 1300-2800 m; Colo., Idaho, Mont., Nev., Utah, Wash., Wyo.
