Herbs, annual. Leaf blades flat, 3-5-veined, oblong, lanceolate or linear-lanceolate. Perianth segments usually forming 1-1.3 mm membranous wings or winged-tuberculate appendages at maturity, glabrous or sparsely pubsecent.
Species 1-4 (1 in the flora): introduced; Europe, Asia.
