A prostrate or decubent, few branchedherb; stolons rooting at nodes, 5-20 cm long, pubescent. Basal leaves opposite, sometimes the upper ones alternate, with short petioles, about 2-4 mm long, broadly ovate to cordate, acute at apex, cordate or rotundate at base, 3-10 mm long, 3-7 mm wide, pubescent on both surfaces, the veinlets prominent on under surface, the margins entire. Flowers yellow, axillary, with short pedicels, 3-5 mm long; sepals 5, lanceolate, acuminate at apex, about 5 mm long, 2 mm wide, pubescent, with black-punctate dots, glabrous within; corolla-segments with black-punctate dots, rotundate-obovate; stamens 5, adnate to the corolla tube, filiform, about 4 mm long. Capsules brown, glabrous, pubescent, shorter than the calyx, longitudinally dehiscent.
