Africa, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnan, Laos, Cambodia, China (Fujian, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxl, Guizhou, Yunnan), Taiwan, in central and southern part, scattered rocky outcrops in the forest from 200-2300 m. Flowering in May.-Dec., central in Jun.-Oct.
