Cheirostylis derchiensis S. S. Ying
Rhizomes decumbent, to 10 cm long, leafy at erect top, leafy part 1-2 cm long. Leaves 2-4, ovate or broadly ovate, rarely cordate, up to 3.5 cm long, 2.5 cm wide, generally smaller, green or variously on network of veins. Peduncle hairy, up to 15 cm long, with 1-4 sheathed glabrous scales;. raceme 3-10-flowered; floral bracts ovate-lanceolate, pale brown, glabrous, shorter than ovary. Flowers resupinate; ovary glabrous, 6-10 mm long; sepals pale greenish brown, 5 mm long, connate for 3/5 of their length, glabrous; petals white, obliquely spatulate, 5 mm long, up to 1.5 mm wide, tinged with green along single vein, appressed to dorsal sepal and forming a hood; lip white and tinged with green, undivided, attached to base of column, spatulate, 4.5-5 mm long, 2-2.3 mm wide, with single or forked veins, edges inflexed; column erect, 3 mm long; stylids quite variable, well developed and parallel to rostellum or reflexed downward, or not fully developed and in varied posture, often low and flange-like; stigma 2, lateral, near base of rostellum; anther broadly ovate, 1.8-2.0 mm long, pink at back; pollinia often dissociated at time of blooming; rostellum erect, triangular-lanceolate, arms acuminate at apex, tegula stipe narrowly oblong, 1 mm long.

Distributed in Hongkong. Taiwan, common throughout the island excluding the northern part, in forests of low elevations, often saxicolous.
