台灣金釵蘭

Stems often pendulous or horizontal, ca. 5 mm in diam., to 50 cm long. Leaves terete, 5-10 cm long, 2.5-4 mm thick, rigid, articulated with sheath; sheath 1-4 cm long. Raceme axillary; peduncle 5-10 mm long; bract oval-triangular, 3 mm long, 5 mm wide, acute; pedicel and ovary 12-18 mm long, green, with purple spots. Flowers 1-3, with yellowish green sepals and petals; dorsal sepals elliptic, 13-17 mm long, 6-7 mm wide, obtuse, often with purple spots or short line outside; lateral sepals elliptic to obovate, 12-15 mm long, 6.5-7 mm wide, purple spotted, outside distinctly keeled; petals longer, obovate to spatulate, 17-20 mm long, 7-9 mm wide, obtuse; lip 3-lobed, 13-18 mm long, lateral lobes erect, ovate-triangular or rectangular, 3 mm long, 2 mm wide, green, with purple spots, midlobe dark purple nearly throughout, rectangular, 11-15 mm long, 7-9 mm wide, apex with 2 triangular lobules, sinus mucronate, lobules 4 mm long, obtuse; disc with 3-7 raised longitudinal ridges, often wrinkled laterally and appearing reticulate sulcate on entire surface; column stout, 5-6 mm high; anther cap whitish, oval, 3 mm long; pollinia ellipsoid, 1.5 mm long, stipe nearly as long, terminated with a viscidium, viscidium oval or triangular, 2.5 mm wide. Capsules fusiform-cylindrical, 3-4 cm long.

Endemic, central and southern mountains, 800-2,000 m.
