    Plants 20 to 45 cm high. Tuberoids globose to ovoid, 1-2 cm long. Stems often concealed by leaves, leafy near ground, sheathing below. Leaves 2-4, closely clustered or slightly spaced, green on upper surface, pale on lower surface, oblong or lanceolate, 6-10 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, apex acute. Peduncle straight and slender, 10-15 cm long, with many linear-lanceolate scales; rachis 10-20 cm long; bracts ovate-lanceolate, 8-12 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, acuminate; pedicel and ovary closed to rachis, 8-10 mm long. Flowers 20 or more, whitish; dorsal sepal concave, ovate, 4 mm long, 2.5 mm wide, apex obtuse; lateral sepals oblong, 4-5 mm long, 2 mm wide, apex acute, slightly concave near base; petals ovate-rhombic, 5 mm long, 3 mm wide, apex acute, contracted at base; lip 3-lobed from near spurred base, lateral lobes horizontally spreading, perpendicular to central lobe, filiform, 5-12 mm long, central lobe ligulate, 2-3 mm long, apex obtuse, disc with round callus, spur ovoid, 2 mm long, with narrow mouth on lip-base; column ca. 1.5 mm tall, with small auricle on both sides; anther cells 1.5 mm long, rather close; pollinia obovoid, 1 mm long, caudicle 0.3 mm long, viscidia oblong; stigma shortly cylindrical, placed beside auricle; rostellum protruding from between base of anther cells, narrowly horse-shoe shaped, with longitudinal slit and 2 short diverging lateral arms. Capsules fusiform, ca. 1 cm long.
