    Plants 15-25 cm tall. Tuberoids elongate fusiform, 2-5 cm long, 4-7 mm thick. Stem ridged, with one large leaf near base and 1-3 much smaller bract-like leaves on upper part. Large leaves sessile, elliptic or elliptic-oblong, 8-15 cm long, 3-6 cm wide, apex acute, narrow or broad or sometimes rounded at base. Inflorescence 5-15 cm long, with few to many flowers; bracts ovate-lanceolate, 8-15 mm long, 36 mm wide, acute or acuminate, lower ones larger; pedicel and ovary 8-16 mm long. Flowers greenish; dorsal sepal concave, ovate, 4.5-5 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, apex obtuse, 1-nerved; lateral sepals spreading and reflexed, obliquely linear-lanceolate, 6.5-7 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, apex obtuse, 1-nerved; petals spreading, pointing away from dorsal sepal, obliquely ovate-lanceolate, 6 mm long, 3 mm wide near base, acute or obtuse; lip fleshy, descending, lanceolate, 7-8 mm long, 2-2.5 mm wide, apex obtuse or acute, slightly broadened near base, spur cylindrical, arched or slightly pointing backward, 12-15 mm long; column 2.5-3 mm tall; anther cells clavate, 2 mm long, widely separated and nearly parallel, staminodes ellipsoid, 1 mm long; pollinia ovoid, 1 mm long, caudicle ca. 1.5 mm long, viscidium orbicular discoid; stigma transversely rectangular, rostellum narrowly tape-like, slightly curved.

    Endemic. Usually in broadleaved forests or on moist rocks on roadside and forest edges, 300-1,600 m.
