    Plants 10-25 cm tall. Tuberoids globose or ovoid, 5-20 mm across. Stem erect or suberect, green and usually with purplish striation, with 1-2 sheaths at base. Leaves 2-5, linear-lanceolate or linear-ovate, decreasing in size upward, 3.5-9 cm long, 4-15 mm wide, acute or acuminate at apex, decurrent and attenuate at base. Spikes with 5-20 flowers, secund, 3-10 cm long; bracts green or purple, chartaceous, lanceolate, 10-15 mm long, apex acuminate, entire; pedicle and ovary 1-1.5 cm long, nearly straight. Flowers whitish purple or rose with purple or red dots on lip, rarely white; dorsal sepal elliptic, concave, 5-7 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, apex acute, contracted at base; lateral sepals obliquely oblong or ovate-oblong, 7-8 mm long, 4-5 mm wide, acute or obtuse at apex, contracted at base; petals obliquely elliptic, ciliate, 5.5-6.5 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, obtuse and incurved at apex, contracted at base; lip pale purple or rose, sometimes turning white or pale yellow at base, with purple dots or patches on disc, ovate-orbicular, 1-1.5 across, entire or irregular serrate along front margin, 3-lobes, lateral lobes oblong, trapezoid or nearly square, obtuse or truncate at apex, central lobe semiorbicular, 4-5 mm long, 4-5 mm wide, the disc folded upward near entrance of spur, spur cylindrical, pointing backward or downward, longer or nearly equal to length of lip blade, 12-20 mm long, 3-4 mm in diam., slightly attenuate, obtuse at apex, pubescent inside; column 3-4 mm tall; anther locules parallel, with enlarged apex and slender base, 2-3 mm long; pollinia ovoid or ellipsoid, 1-1.2 mm long; viscidium linear-lanceolate.

    Endemic, on cliffs and in crevices of rocks along roadsides, 1,500-3,000 m, in the center and south.
