    Rhizomes obscure. Pseudobulbs closely aggregated, elongate conic-ovoid, 2.5-4 cm long, ca. 8-15 mm wide, long attenuate at apex, green and lustrus at first, turning dark brown when old. Leaves solitary, articulated with pseudobulb, oblong-lanceolate to linear-oblong, 8-20 cm long, 2-3.2 cm wide, greenish above, pale below, apex obtuse, minutely aristate, base attenuate into canaliculate petiole. Scape arising from base of pseudobulbs, rachis 4-10 cm long, slender, peduncle 5-10 cm long, lower part with 2-4 scales; scales thin, ca. 1-1.5 cm long; bracts lanceolate, 6-8 mm long, acute, with reddish brown spots; pedicel and ovary nearly as long as bract. Flowers 8-15 laxly racemose, yellowish green, sepals speckled with reddish spots on outer surface; dorsal sepal ovate-lanceolate, 6-8 mm long, 2.5 mm wide, acuminate at apex, slightly contracted at base, strongly concave, entire; lateral sepals slightly divergent, obliquely lanceolate, 7-10 mm long, 3 mm wide, long caudate at apex; petals much shorter, ovate, 4 mm long, 2 mm wide, shortly ciliate-serrate; lip pale yellow, tinged with red or with a few reddish spots on lower side, erect on foot of column, 2.5 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, recurved at apex, upper surface with 2 lateral yellowish white ridges and a median yellow ridge; column whitish, 2 mm long, with 2 slender stylids at apex, foot 2 mm long, thickened and convex below stigma, thinner toward apex; anther yellowish or nearly white, sometimes tinged with red, ovate-cordate, 1 mm long; pollinia 2 and cleft, or 4, in 2 connate pairs. Capsules ellipsoid, 1.5-2 cm long. Seeds fusiform, 0.2-0.4 mm long, with short caudate ends.
