Bulbophyllum tibeticum Rolfe
Rhizomes long creeping, terete, 3-4 mm in diam. Pseudobulbs 1-4 cm apart, ovoid to conic, often sulcate and rugose, 2-2.5 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, greenish yellow, lustrous. Leaves subsessile, linear-oblong, fleshy, coriaceous, 8-12 cm long, 1.5-2 cm wide, apex slightly retuse, base cuneate. Scapes yellowish, with dark brown spots, 6-10 cm long, slender, but sometimes slightly dilated apically, scales 2, near base; bracts greenish, brown punctate, lanceolate, 6-8 mm long, acuminate at apex; pedicel and ovary 1.5-2.5 cm long. Flowers 3-6, umbellate, greenish yellow to pale brown, minutely red punctate, 2-2.5 cm long; dorsal sepal ovate, concave, 8-12 mm long, 4-7 mm wide, acuminate at apex, entire; lateral sepals often free and parallel, falcate oblong, 16-18 mm long, 7 mm wide, apex acute, base oblique, incurved; petals ovate, 7 mm long, 4-5 mm wide, apex obtuse, entire; lip yellowish, tinged with red at base, tongue shaped, 5-6 mm long, 4 mm wide, apex obtuse, recurved; column 3-3.5 long, with 2 broad truncate wings at apex, wing with acute lower corner and stylid-like upper corner, base attenuate into foot, 6-7 mm long; anther pale yellow, 2-celled; pollinia 4, in 2 groups, connected by viscous material. Capsules cylindrical-fusiform, 4-5 cm long.
