Stems usually pendulous, much branched; each branch ca. 15 cm long, thickened upward from slender base, nodes distincty constricted; internodes obconic-cylindrical, 1 cm long, 0.5 cm in diam., covered with sheath, furrowed when old; sheaths hyaline, truncate toward end. Leaves lanceolate or ovate, ca. 3.5 cm long, 7-10 mm wide, acuminate or sometimes obliquely bifid at apex, contracted at base. Racemes lateral, arising from upper nodes of defoliated stem, 1-4 flowered; peduncle inconspicuous; bracts triangular, 6 mm long, 4 mm wide, 3-nerved; pedicel and ovary ca. 1.5 cm long. Flowers nearly white, with purplish or greenish veins; dorsal sepal oblong, 16-25 mm long, 7-9 mm wide, acute-obtuse at apex, slightly contracted at base; lateral sepals strongly oblique, upper part free, oblong, 15-25 mm long, 6-9 mm wide, lower parts connate forming an elongate mentum, mentum cylindrical, 15-20 mm long, 4-5 mm wide; petals obliquely lanceolate-obovate, 14-23 mm long, 5 mm wide, apex obtuse, narrowed at base; lip elongate-spatulate, 30-35 mm long, 6 mm wide, base long-clawed and connate with mentum, free part constricted in middle, limb ovate-oblong, 9 mm long, 6 mm wide, base sometimes auricled; column 3 mm long, 2 mm wide, foot 18-20 mm long; anther cup-like; pollinia yellow, ovoid. Capsule oblong, 2-3 cm long.
