蘭嶼脈葉蘭
Plants 8-15 cm tall. Corms whitish, ovoid or nearly globose, 0.8-1.2 cm across. Leaves petiolate, polygonal-ovate or cordate, 4-6 cm long, 4-5.5 cm wide, acute or apiculate at apex, cordate at base, green on upper surface, pale green on lower surface, wavy-crisped along margins, edge slightly angled at ends of 5-7 palmate major veins; petiole 4-6 cm long. Peduncle pale green, 5-13 cm tall, ca. 1.5 mm in diam., with 1-2 sheaths below, sheaths tubular, 2-3 cm long; bracts lanceolate, 4-8 mm long, 1-3 mm wide, acute; pedicel and ovary 5-8 mm long. Flowers solitary, perianth spreading; sepals greenish brown, with purple spots, lanceolate, 16-20 mm long, 3-3.5 mm wide, acute or acuminate at apex; petals similar to sepals but slightly narrower; lip whitish or pale yellow, sometimes scattered with small purplish dots, oblong, 12-15 mm long, 5-7 mm wide, 3-lobed, lateral lobes triangular, erect beside column, 2-3 mm long, midlobe obovate or orbicular, 6 mm long, 5 mm wide, apex rounded, disc with longitudinal keel; column 5-6 mm long, dilated upward; anther cucullate; pollinia without viscidium; stigma semiorbicular.
