Tulotis ussuriensis var. transnokoensis (Ohwi & Fukuy.) T. S. Liu & H. J. Su
Plants 25-60 cm tall. Tuberoids clavate-fusiform, 2-6 cm long, 4-9 mm thick, with bud produced at base. Stem ridged, with 1-3 larger cauline leaves in lower and middle part and few bract-like smaller leaves in upper part. Large leaves sessile, ovate-oblong to lanceolate, 8-15 cm long, 2.5-5 cm wide, apex acute, embracing stem at base. Inflorescence 10-20 cm long, with 10-40 flowers; bracts lanceolate, 8-25 mm long, 3-6 mm wide, acute or acuminate, lower ones larger, usually exceeding pedicel and ovary; pedicel and ovary 7-18 mm long. Flowers pale green or nearly white; dorsal sepal ovate, 3-3.5 mm long, 2-2.5 mm wide, apex obtuse, base truncate, 3-nerved; lateral sepals spreading horizontally, falcate, 4-5 mm long, 2-2.5 mm wide, apex obtuse, 3-nerved; petals connivent under dorsal sepal forming hood, obliquely oblong, 3-3.5 mm long, 1.5-2 mm wide, obtuse at apex; lip fleshy, descending, linear-oblong, 5-7 mm long, 1.2-2 mm wide, apex obtuse, with retrose callus at base blocking entrance of spur; spur cylindrical, arched and slightly pointing forward, 8-17 mm long; column 2-2.5 mm tall; anther cells clavate, 2 mm long, widely separated and nearly parallel, staminodes ellipsoid, rugose; pollinia ovoid, 0.8 mm long, caudicle ca. same length, viscidium orbicular discoid; stigma concave; rostellum narrow tape-like, slightly curved into an U shape.
