    Plants 6-22 cm tall. Tuberoids globose to ovoid, 4-9 mm across. Stem glabrous, pale green, with 12 sheaths at base. Leaves usually 2, alternate, spaced near middle of stem, rarely approximate near base of stem, linear-oblong or lanceolate, 3-7 cm long, 5-8 mm wide, apex acute, decurrent at base. Spikes with 1-4 flowers, subsecund, 1-4 cm long; bracts green or purple, chartaceous, lanceolate, 5-12 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, apex acuminate, entire; pedicle and ovary 8-10 mm long, nearly straight. Flowers whitish or with purple or red dots on lip; dorsal sepal elliptic to oblong, concave, 5.5-7 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, acute or obtuse at apex, contracted at base; lateral sepals spreading, obliquely ovate-oblong, 7-9 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, apex acute, contracted at base; petals obliquely ovate-oblong, 5-6.5 mm long, 3 mm wide, apex obtuse, short clawed and obliquely auricled at base; lip white, sometimes with rose dots, obtriangular or obovate, narrowed at base, 8-12 mm long, 7-11 mm wide, entire or irregular serrate along front margin, 3-lobed, lateral lobes triangular, ovate-falcate or trapezoid, apex obtuse or acute, 3 mm long, central lobe ovate-quadrangular or obovate, 3-5 mm long, 4-5 mm wide, truncate and sometimes shortly aristate, or shallowly to deeply 2-lobed at apex, disc slightly keeled and pubescent along midrib, spur cylindrical, pointing downward, much shorter than length of lip blade, 4-5.5 mm long, 1-2.5 mm in diam., apex obtuse; column 2.5-3.5 mm tall; anther locules clavate, 1.5-2.5 mm long; pollinia ovoid, 0.5-1 mm long; viscidium ovoid.

    Endemic, alpine grasslands, scree slopes and crevices of rocks, 3,000-3,800 m.
