Thrixspermum kusukusense (Hayata) Schltr.
Stems 2-3 cm long. Leaves linear-oblong, 3-5 cm long, 5-6 mm wide, apex acute or minutely bifid, base cuneate, coriaceous. Peduncle suberect, straight, 4-5 cm long; rachis thickened, ca. 5 mm long; bracts scale-like, 3 mm long; pedicel and ovary 4 mm long. Flowers opening successively, yellow; dorsal sepal oblong or ovate-oblong, 4.5-5 mm long, 2-3 mm wide, 3-nerved, obtuse; lateral sepals similar to dorsal one, slightly oblique, broader; petal obovate-oblong, 4-5 mm long, 2.5 mm wide; lip rather small, 3 mm long, 5 mm wide, saccate, 3-lobed, lateral lobes erect, 3 mm wide, with red streaks, mid-lobe orange-yellow, ca. 1 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, with 2 conic calli and 3 tufts of white hairs on disc; column pale green, 2 mm long, with short foot. Capsules cylindric, 5 cm long.
