Athyrium drepanopterum (Kunze) A. Br. ex Milde,

細裂蹄蓋蕨

Rhizome stout, erect, 2-4 cm thick, densely covered with narrowly lanceolate, entire, hair-pointed, reddish-brown scales 20-25 mm long. Stipes tufted, stramineous, 10-30 cm long, scaly at base; lamina broadly lanceolate, 45 cm long, 20 cm wide, tripinnatifid to tripinnate, anadromous, adaxial pinnules longer than abaxial ones; texture subcoriceous, pinnae linear-lanceolate, 15 cm long, 3 cm wide, petiolate, ascending, pinnules subsessile, upper surface without spines, rachis groove open to receive rachilla grooves. Sori near round, medial on veinlets; indusia broadly reniform, erose, crossing veinlets.

India, Birma, China, Tiawan and the Philippines.
