小黃金鴨嘴草

Culm geniculate, about 1 mm in diameter. Blade 5-6 cm long by 6-7 mm wide; ligule rounded, minutely fimbriate on the upper part, about 1.5 mm long, chartaceous. Racemes 2, about 2.5 cm long, yellowish. Spikelets paired, monomorphic, the upper pedicelled, the lower sessile; rachis yellow, villose. Lower glume coriaceous, as long as the spikelet, lanceolate, 2-keeled and winged, 2-toothed; upper glume coriaceous, deltoid, 5-nerved, aristate, margins membranous and fimbriate. Lower floret subcoriaceous, lanceolate, about 4 mm long; lemma 1-nerved, upper margins membranous and fimbriate, overlapping; palea 2-keeled, siliceous along keels, margins membranous and fimbriate. Upper floret hyaline; lemma about 3.5 mm long, 3-nerved, fimbriate on margins, 2-cleft, aristate; palea 2-keeled, siliceous along keels, acute. Caryopsis about 1 mm long; embryo 1/2 the length of the caryopsis. Anther about 1.5 mm long.
