毛葉知風草
Culm tufted. Blade linear, about 10 cm long by 1.5 mm wide, densely covered with long hairs; ligule a ring of hairs. 0.4-0.5 mm long. Inflorescence an open panicle, about 5-7 cm long. Spikelets usually 7-flowered, about 3.5 mm long; glumes chartaceous, nearly equal, about 1 mm long, 1-nerved; the lower slightly shorter than the upper, lanceolate; the upper ovate; lemma chartaceous, ovate, 3-nerved, about 1.5 mm long; palea as long as the lemma, elliptical, 2-keeled minutely scabrous along keels.

Endemic to Taiwan.
