鴨嘴草
Rhizome stout. Culms erect, up to 1 m long, nodes glabrous. Blade 4-15 cm long, margins scabrous; sheath usually shorter than the internode. Racemes paired, about 7 cm long. Rachis-joint and pedicel nearly equal, about 1/2 the length of the sessile spikelet, inner margin scabrous, sometimes white ciliate. Spikelets paired,one pedicellate and the other sessile. Sessile spikelet narrowly lanceolate, about 8 mm long, glabrous; glume as long as the spikelet, coriaceous; lower glume keeled and winged along margins, scabrous, 2-toothed at the apex; upper glume boat-shaped, 5-nerved, anastomosing at least at the upper part; lower lemma slightly shorter than the spikelet; upper lemma membranous, 2-cleft, with a short awn protruding from the sinus. Pedicellate spikelet slightly shorter than the sessile spikelet.
