Adenophora lamarckii Fisch.
Taproot thick and deep. Leafy stem 70-100 cm, glabrous. Stem leaves alternate, ovate-lanceolate, 5-7 cm, dentate-crenate. Flowers numerous, in branched panicles or racemes, nodding. Corolla deep blue, funnel-shaped to campanulate, 2.5 cm long. V - May (or April) to October. Fl - June to July, for one month. Fr - August. P - by seed. Will flower in the second year. Does well in sunny and in partially shaded places. Z 4. New.
Siberia (southern regions). On margins of montane deciduous forests.
