Thymus ladjanuricus Kem.-Nath.
Mat-forming plant with numerous long stems (50cm), woody at base. Leaves elliptic-spathulate or narrowly linear, 10-20 x 3.5-5 mm. Inflorescence nearly globose, with long leaflike bracts. Calyx tube-campanulate, with upper lip deeply divided, teeth long-ciliate, corolla 6-7 mm long, narrowly tube, pink. V - early spring, tends to be evergreen in regions without frost. Fl - May. Fr - July. P - by seed and cuttings. Very good ground cover plant, for all types of rock gardens. Drought-resistant. Z 6 (5). New.
