Small tree or shrub 1.5-5 m, with thornless branches. Leaves bright grey-green 5 cm long. Good for dry rocky places. Very attractive when flowering. Drought resistant. Z 5 (4). New.

Central Asia (mountains of Turkmenia) and Iran. Rocky hills and slopes.
