Herbs perennial, pubescent-villous or glandular pubescent. Leaves forming a rosette; petiole (1.5--)3--10 cm; leaf blade suborbicular to reniform, 0.4--3 X 0.6--4 cm, margin crenate to crenate-lobate, base cordate; lobes crenate-dentate to sharply dentate on margin. Scapes 4--18 cm; umbels 4--30-flowered; bracts oblanceolate to obovate-cuneate, rarely elliptic, (2.5--)4--10(--19) mm, leaflike, margin entire or dentate near apex. Pedicel 4--15(--40) mm. Calyx campanulate, 4--6 mm, parted to middle or slightly below; lobes ovate to elliptic-ovate, margin entire or dentate near apex. Corolla white to pink or pinkish red, 6.5--10 mm in diam.; lobes cuneate-obovate, 3--4 X 2--3.8 mm, apex retuse or deeply emarginate. 2n = 20.
