Branchlets, petioles, leaves, peduncles, and pedicels glabrous or dull yellow pubescent. Outer sepals 6-7 mm. Corolla 1.4-2 cm.
Moist areas in forests; 100-700 m. Guangxi, Hainan, Yunnan [Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam]
The stem is used medicinally to treat anemia.
