长叶胡颓子(原变种) chang ye hu tui zi (yuan bian zhong)

Branches spiny. Leaf blade narrowly elliptic to narrowly lanceolate, 4-9 × 1-3.5 cm, apex acuminate. Fruiting pedicel 4-6 mm. Style densely whitish stellate-hairy. Drupe broadly cylindric, ca. 1 cm.

● Eastern mountain slopes, among roadside shrubs; 600-2100 m. Gansu, Guizhou, Hubei, Shanxi, Sichuan.
