糙柱杜鹃 cao zhu du juan
Blade of spring leaves 5–7.5 × to 1.3 cm, margin not conspicuously revolute, lateral veins prominent abaxially. Style coarsely brown setose-strigose at base. Fl. Mar–Apr, fr. Jul–Aug.
Open forests, ravines; 500–700 m. S Guangxi.
Judging from the types of both names, var. setistylum may not be distinct from var. meridionale.
