Leaf blade 8–10 × 4–6 cm; abaxial surface densely gray-white to cinnamon long tomentose, hairs long-rayed stellate, persistent. Inflorescence 8–9-flowered. Ovary glabrous. Fl. May.
Thickets, mountain slopes; 2700–3100 m. E Qinghai.
