Rachises, costae, and veins all glabrous.
Meadows, reed marshes, wet shaded places in forests; 200-800 m. Hebei, Heilongjiang, Henan, Jilin, Nei Mongol, Shandong, Sichuan, Xinjiang [widely distributed in temperate regions of N Hemisphere].
