毛萼铺地花楸 mao e pu de hua qiu
Hypanthium reddish brown pubescent abaxially.
Scrub, grasslands; 3400--3500 m. NW Yunnan (Gongshan Drungzu Nuzu Zizhixian).
One of us (Spongberg) prefers to treat this variety as a synonym of the species because of the slight differences.
