Trees; branchlets gray, lenticellate. Petiole 1-3 cm; leaf blade oblong-lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate, 25-50 × 5.5-12 cm, leathery, glabrous on both surfaces, adaxially lucid, abaxially glaucescent, base obtuse, margin entire, apex acute to shortly caudate, midrib slightly elevated adaxially and elevated abaxially, lateral veins ca. 20 pairs, reticulate venation pattern prominent on both surfaces. Inflorescence paniculate, ca. 17 cm; floral subtending bracts ca. 1 mm, with ciliate margins. Pedicel ca. 2 mm; flowers white. Calyx campanulate, ca. 2.5 mm, with 5 ± conspicuous teeth. Petals ovate-lanceolate, ca. 5.5 × 2.5 mm. Stamens shorter than petals; filaments linear, ca. 3 mm; anthers oblong, ca. 2 mm. Ovary ovoid, ca. 2 mm. Drupe rounded, ca. 2.5 × 2 cm.
