Plants ca. 60 cm tall, glandular pubescent. Stems branched, smooth. Cauline leaf petiole ca. 2 cm; leaf blade 3-pinnate, ca. 12 cm; petiolule 2.5--5.5 mm; leaflet blade broadly ovate or broadly rhombic-ovate, 0.6--1.1 × 0.6--1.1 cm, leathery, abaxially glabrous and glandular, adaxiallly pubescent, base cordate, apex rounded or truncate, 3-lobed; lobes entire or 2- or 3-crenate. Inflorescence monochasial, 1.5--9 cm, 3- or 4-flowered, glandular pubescent. Pedicel 0.3--1.4 mm. Sepals 4, white or purplish tinged, elliptic, ca. 3 × 1.5 mm, abaxially pubescent. Stamens ca. 15, ca. 4 mm, glabrous; filament narrowly linear; anther ca. 1 mm, apex obtuse. Carpels 1--3; style subulate, ca. 1.2 mm; stigma narrowly linear. Achene body narrowly ovoid or narrowly ellipsoid, ca. 3 × 1.2 mm, densely glandular hairy. Fl. Aug.

This species is similar to Thalictrum glandulosissimum, but differs in having branches and leaf rachis pubescent, anthers obtuse at the apex, and stigmas wingless.

* Grassy places in valleys, riversides; ca. 1800 m. NW Yunnan (Jinsha Jiang valley N of Lijiang).
