Description from Flora of China
Branches shortly squamose strigose. Leaf blade both surfaces shortly strigose. Calyx lobes rhomboid-oblong, ca. 10 × 5 mm, bristly on ridges but otherwise sparsely puberulous. Fl. Apr-Aug, fr. Aug-Oct.
● Open slopes, thickets, trailsides. Hainan, Hong Kong.
