Plants 15-40 cm in diam. Stems crowded, much branched, ca. 3 cm tall. Leaf blade flabellate, 7-12 × 4-6 mm, abaxially glabrous or nearly so, adaxially and margin densely white villous, base attenuate, apex acute. Pedicel 4-7 mm, glabrous. Calyx ca. 4.5 mm, villous inside and along margin, glabrous outside. Corolla light blue, ca. 7.5 mm, glabrous; tube ca. as long as calyx; throat appendages transverse folds or lunate, ca. 1 mm wide; limb 7-8 mm wide; lobes with thin veins. Stamens included; anthers ca. 1 mm. Style ca. 2 mm; stigma compressed globose. Nutlet short appressed pubescent abaxially.
