Description from Flora of China
Shrubs. Branches, branchlets, leaves, and inflorescences densely pubescent. Petiole ca. 3 mm, densely circinate pilose; leaf blade broadly ovate to subrounded, 2-8 X 0.9-5.7 cm, membranous, densely pubescent, sparsely glandular, base cuneate to rounded, margin subentire, undulate, or crenate, apex obtuse to rounded, veins 3-6 pairs. Inflorescences subsessile. Calyx deeply 5-dentate, teeth ca. 6 mm, both surfaces villous and sparsely glandular. Corolla ca. 7 mm, outside villous, throat villous and sparsely glandular. Stamens slightly exserted; filaments and style glabrous. Ovary with few hairs, glandular.
Allied to Premna acutata but differs in leaf blade shape and margins.
