Herbs perennial, low, barely 10 cm tall, ± stemless, delicate, not drying black. Stems 3--4 cm, leafy, occasionally few branched. Leaves alternate; petiole to 3--6 cm; leaf blade oblong to oblong-lanceolate, to 7 X 2.5 cm, pinnatisect; segments 4--9 pairs, oblong-lanceolate, pinnatisect, incised-dentate. Flowers few. Pedicel curved, 1.5--6 cm, slender. Calyx turbinate-campanulate, ca. 6.5 mm, slightly cleft anteriorly; lobes 5, lanceolate-linear, ± entire to obscurely dentate. Corolla rose, ca. 1.6 cm; tube more than 2 X as long as calyx; galea ca. 9 mm, ± bent at a right angle; beak straight, slender; lower lip ca. 1.1 X 1.4 cm, middle lobe rounded, smaller than lateral lobes, ciliate. Filaments glabrous. Fl. Jul--Aug, fr. Sep.

* Moist Abies forests; 3400--4100 m. NW and W Sichuan.
