Androsace henryi var. crassifolia Handel-Mazzetti; A. henryi var. typica R. Knuth.
Leaf blade 3--7 cm wide. Bracts linear to linear-lanceolate, 3--9 mm. Calyx 3--4 mm, scarcely enlarging in fruit; lobes triangular to narrowly ovate-triangular. Fl. Apr-May.
Glades, at margins of mountain woodlands, damp areas in ravines; 1500--3200 m. W Hubei, S Shaanxi, Sichuan, SE Xizang, Yunnan [Bhutan, Myanmar, Nepal].
