Leaf margin entire or with 3 or 4 pairs of spiny teeth 5-9 mm. Bracts glabrous to slightly puberulent. Corolla tube 1-1.5 mm; lobes 2.5-3.5 mm. Fl. Nov-Dec, fr. May-Jun. 2n = 46*.
