Pedicularis przewalskii var. hirsuta H. L. Li, Proc. Acad. Nat. Sci. Philadelphia 101: 113. 1949.
Leaf blade ca. 2.2 cm X 8 mm, densely pubescent, not glandular. Calyx lobes 5. Corolla purple-red except beak, becoming pale when dry.
