Scutellaria salvia H. Léveillé.

Stem leaf blade adaxially densely puberulent, pubescent, abaxially sometimes purplish, pubescent especially on veins. Flowers alternate near apex of inflorescence. Corolla tube puberulent to pubescent inside on front at base, otherwise glabrous.

Used as a folk remedy for colds, fevers, sore throats, and enteritis. Forested hillsides, streamsides, grassy slopes; 0-1800 m. Guangxi, Guizhou, Yunnan [Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam]
