Description from Flora of China
Shrubs, large. Leaf blade narrowly elliptic, 30-35 × 10-15 cm, abaxially densely brown tomentose. Figs pear-shaped, 4-6 × 4-5 cm, ringed on surface, densely covered with rust-colored scale-like hairs; peduncle 3-15 mm. Gall flowers: calyx lobes slightly recurved. Fl. Apr-May, fr. Jun-Aug.
Rain forests; 700-800 m. S Yunnan [Laos].
