Rubus calycacanthus H. Léveillé var. buergerifolius H. Léveillé; R. darrisii H. Léveillé; R. laciniatostipulatus Hayata ex Koidzumi; R. moluccanus sensu Matsumura & Hayata (1906), not Linnaeus (1763).
Branchlets, petioles, and abaxial surface of calyx usually without glandular hairs.
Stream sides, roadsides, mixed forests; below 3000 m. Guizhou, Sichuan, Taiwan, Yunnan.
