Shrubs or trees. Leaves 1-5-foliolate; petiolate; leaflets alternate. Flowers 4-5-merous in axillary panicles. Stamens free, 8-10; filaments subulate. Ovary 2-5-locular; style persistent. Berry 1-3-seeded.
