Perennial, up to 10 cm long, erect or suberect, leafy, hairy with simple rarely forked hairs. Radical leaves narrowly spathulate, 10-15 mm long, 3-5 mm broad, entire or slightly 1-3-dentate above, apex rounded; cauline leaves short, oblanceolate to linear. Racemes 10-15-flowered, bracteate. Flowers c. 5 mm across, white often violet tinged at base; pedicels up to 8 mm long in fruit. Sepals c. 3 mm long. Petals 5-8 mm long. Stamens c. 3: 3.5 mm long. Siliquae (young) c. 10 mm long, 1 mm broad, linear, pilose, c. 8 ovuled in each locule; stigma depressed, shortly bilobed, sessile or subsessile.

Type: Kashmir, Sonmarg, 3900 m, R.R. Stewart 9874 A (B).
Distribution: Endemic to W. Tibet, Kashmir and Karakorum.
An incompletely known species and probably C. linearis Busch is not different from it
