Geniosporum strobiliferum Benth.Plectranthus colorata D. Don
A tall erect herb up to 1m with narrow ovate acuminate leaves up to 10 x 4 cm, coarsely serrate, with c. 1.5 cm petiole. Inflorescence spikes up to c. 10 cm. Fruiting calyx up to 7 mm, traversely, apically hispidulous.
Described from Nepal.
Distribution: Pakistan ?, Himalaya from Garhwal to Bhutan, Bengal, Burma, SW China.
This is included solely on the basis of the record in R. R. Stewart (l.c.); he gave no indication of the source of the record but commented "An error about the locality". Taxilla, west of Rawalpindi, does seem an unlikely station for the species.
