Acacia albida Del., Fl. Egypt. 142. t. 52. f. 3. 1813.
Tree, 6-30 m tall, young branches ashen to whitish, stipules spinescent, up to 2.3 cm long, straight. Pinnae 2-10 pairs, with a conspicuous gland at the junction of each pair of pinnae. Leaflets 6-23 pairs, 2.5-12 mm long, 1-2.5 mm wide. Spike 3.5-14 cm long. Pod bright orange, thick, indehiscent, falcate or curled, 6-25 cm long, 2-5 cm wide.
Distribution: Native of Tropical and subtropical Africa; introduced in Kurram, Garhi Canal etc.
